Responsive Grants Program

  • Supports projects that are central to the mission of the Foundation but fall outside the three grant program areas.
  • Grants are awarded to non-profit institutions with 501(c) 3 status, based in the United States, including supporting foundations of European institutions.
  • These are competitive grants. Please see ‘Past Grants’ and ‘Annual Reports’ for past awards and typical levels of funding.
  • Application Deadline: Ongoing

The Responsive Grants program is intended to allow the Foundation to support essential needs of the profession of art history that may not be explicitly addressed in our other program areas.
