Colnaghi, London), on 12 June 1925; sold January 1927 to (Count Alessandro Contini Bonacossi [1878-1955], Rome and Florence); [2] sold 3 January 1927 to Samuel H. Kress [1863-1955], New York, as Rhenish School; gift 1961 to the Lowe Art Museum, University of Miami, Coral Gables, no. 61.006.000. [1] Exhibited by Bernhard Hausmann in 1827 in the Stadtbibliothek, Hannover. Inventory number 46,9066 in the Katalog der Hausmann’schen Gemälde Sammlung in Hannover, Brunswick, 1831, as by Dürer. [2] According to Knoedler records, the painting, listed as "School of Bruges, Diptych Madonna and Child and Donor" (no dimensions) was owned jointly by Colnaghi's and Knoedler's, Knoedler's number 16204.
