New Kress Fellowships Available for Language Study
The Kress Foundation is now supporting fellowships for language study at the distinguished summer programs at Middlebury College's Language School and at CUNY's Latin/Greek Institute. At Middlebury College, five Kress Fellowships are available for the summer of 2010 for art history graduate students to attend the summer program in French, German, Italian, or Spanish. These fellowships are intended for graduate students in art history with a proposed focus on European Art History. Preference will be given to graduate students who have recently been accepted or are currently enrolled in the requisite program at a PhD granting institution in the United States. In exceptional cases advanced undergraduates in art history who are preparing for graduate study in the same field may also be considered. At CUNY's Latin/Greek Institute, a series of competitive fellowships are available for the complete immersion summer program in Latin and Greek. Preference will be given to exceptional art history students at PhD granting colleges and universities.
