2011 Annual Report Available
The Kress Foundation's 2011 Annual Report is now available for download on the website. This year mark’s the 50th anniversary of the Great Kress Give-Away, the culmination of the distribution of the Kress Collection to regional museums and galleries through-out the United States. The process began in 1927 with a gift to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and concluded in 1961, fifty years ago, when the more than 3,000 works of art in the Kress Collection were given to more than 50 museums and galleries.
