Nina Scherago, Managing Partner of Edgehill Endowment Partners, has been elected a Trustee of the Samuel H. Kress Foundation, effective immediately. Ms. Scherago joins the seven member board that directs the President and staff to advance the goals of the Foundation.

Ms. Scherago is co-founder of Edgehill Endowment Partners, an Outsourced Chief Investments Officer firm that provides comprehensive investment management to mid-sized endowed institutions, including colleges and foundations. Earlier Ms. Schergo was the Deputy Chief Investment Officer with The Investment Fund for Foundations (TIFF) for thirteen years. And prior to that, she served on the investment staff as Managing Director of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) for ten years.

Ms. Scherago has served on the boards of foundations, independent schools, and colleges. She is currently a Trustee of Smith College where she is Finance Committee chair and has also served as Investment Committee chair. She formerly served as a trustee of The University of Virginia Management Company for nine years from 2004 through 2013. She graduated with a BA from Smith College and received an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.
