Thulin, 'Melanchthons Bildnis und Werk in zeitgenossischer Kunst', in Philipp Melanchthon - Forschungsbeiträgezur 400 Wiederkehr seines Todestages, Gottingen,1961, p. 190, as formerly owned by the antiquary J.
