“Reimagining the Kress Collection” at the Lowe Art Museum
The Lowe Art Museum, University of Miami, will present the virtual program “Reimagining the Kress Collection: Renaissance Context and Contemporary Connections” on Thursday, July 23rd.

During this online event, Dr. Mark Osterman, Digital Experience Manager and Head of Education at the Lowe, and Anna Nelson Bennett, Doctoral Candidate and Graduate Intern in Material Culture Research, will discuss the historical significance and contemporary implications of Renaissance and Baroque artworks within the Lowe’s Kress Collection. They will also share information on the museum’s digital interactive learning project, which focuses on the Kress Collection, and discuss their efforts to include community voices in the project.
