Florentine School. Born 1373; died 1452. The son of Lorenzo di Bicci and the father of Neri di Bicci, he appears in his early work as a follower of Agnolo Gaddi. Later he was influenced by Gentile da Fabriano's Florentine sojourn of the 1420s, and soon after 1440 he collaborated with Domenico Veneziano.
